Design

Clearly an Aston Martin with the elegant proportions of the DB model range, familiar features have been reworked, including the iconic grille which is larger and more prominent; the long clamshell bonnet stretching out ahead of the driver, and the trademarked Aston Martin Aeroblade. Inside the car is extremely spacious, with extra rear-seat space making it a true 2+2 tourer. The interior is trimmed with natural materials with Aston Martin’s legendary craftsmanship, in a choice of colour and trim options to complement the exterior.

Technology

The DB11 V12 offers driver select modes to match performance to the driving environment and driver mood: GT, Sport and Sport Plus readjust the car’s set up including suspension, gear changes and thus dynamic behaviour. The DB11 V12's improved efficiency is thanks to intelligent cylinder bank activation, making it the cleanest, most fuel-efficient DB ever.

The car features Aston Martin’s new satellite navigation and audio system, with optional upgrades to Aston Martin Premium Audio or Bang & Olufsen’s Beo Sound system. Infotainment, climate control, Auto Park Assist and a fully digital instrument cluster assure driver comfort and control in the ergonomically-designed cabin space.

Safety

You can expect a range of safety features in the DB11 including six airbags, stability control, and powerful brake discs to harness incredible stopping power from high speeds. There’s also a variety of driver assistance systems to choose from, including a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors, whilst blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning systems and parking-assistance features are also available. Of course, it’s also possible to temporarily disable these assistance systems if you want to experience the DB11 in its purest form.

Performance

The 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 outputs 630 bhp. Top speed is 208 mph, while accelerating from 0 to 62mph is accomplished in 3.7 seconds. The revised chassis features stiffer suspension bushes and the modified dampers give tighter body control and a sharper response while a thicker front anti-roll bar ensures the car’s perfectly poised balance. The new forged wheels save a significant 3.5kg weight at each corner. It’s sharp, responsive and sporty and yet is extremely comfortable on a long drive.
