Audi staff from across the West Midlands are hoping to raise £10,000 for three good causes at their 6thannual Charity Ball. It will be a night of fine dining, dancing and donating as funds are raised to support local charities Whizz Kidz, Legacy4Lucy and Promise Dreams.
Part of Jardine Motors Group, the Audi dealerships located in Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Shrewsbury and Erdington, have joined forces to help raise awareness and much needed funds for the three charities. The ball will take a ‘music through the decades’ theme that is set to get guests off their feet and onto the dance floor. The charity ball is set to be held at the Dunstall Racecourse on Saturday June 8.
Guests will be treated to a special evening of entertainment with an auction, silent auction, raffle and retro arcade games for them to enjoy. There will be some brilliant items available as part of the auctions and raffles, with all proceeds being split between the three charities.
Andy Davies, Audi Brand Director at Jardine Motors Groups, said: “It’s a real honour to be able to support Whizz Kidz, Legacy4Lucy and Promise Dreams for the sixth year running and would like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors Three Pines Building, Individual Specialist Cars and Wolverhampton Building Supplies. We have already raised more than £50,000 for these deserving causes over the past five years and hope to reach our target of £60,000 during this year’s event. It’s going to be a great night where we hope people will come together to support these three fantastic causes.”
Whizz Kidz is a charity focused on transforming the lives of children with disabilities across the UK, supporting them to become confident and independent young adults by providing the vital equipment, support and life skills needed to reach their full potential.
Alan Bradshaw, Managing Director, at Three Pines Building Company, added: “Whizz Kidz, Legacy4Lucy and Promise Dreams are all fantastic organisations! We were overwhelmed by the level of support at last year’s event and couldn’t be happier to be involved once again. The Ball is a fantastic example of local businesses working together to support some great causes and we’re sure it will be an enjoyable night for all.”
Set up in memory of a young woman who lost her battle to breast cancer, Legacy4Lucy aims to raise funds to help find a cure for breast cancer which kills 11,000 women in the UK annually.

We have been operating in the region for a very long time now and to be able to support these three fantastic causes and give something back to the community is a real honour.”
Simon Parton, Director, at Wolverhampton Building Supplies, said: “The entire team at Wolverhampton Building Supplies is delighted to be involved with the event for the first time. We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone come out and enjoy the evening, so make sure you join us for what’s set to be a brilliant night!”
Promise Dreams is a charity that aims to make a real difference to children who are seriously or terminally ill. Whether it be going on a holiday of a lifetime or meeting their celebrity heroes, Promise Dreams hopes to make them come true for the whole family in need.
Jardine Motors Group formed a charity partnership with Whizz Kidz in 2014. Both organisations share common values and purpose and are focused on providing mobility. In addition to the charity ball, Jardine Motors Group donates £25 for every Motability vehicle sold by one of their dealerships and offers work placement opportunities to young people with disabilities in a variety of roles.
