We’re proud to announce that two Jardine Motors Group colleagues have been awarded first place in their respective categories in this year’s global Testa Rossa Awards. From Jardine Ferrari Colchester, Sales Specialist Robert Cole was awarded Top Sales Executive in the world, whilst Master Technician Chris Mahon received the accolade of Top Technician in the world.
The esteemed annual Testa Rossa Awards is Maranello’s very own World Cup, which honours the best talent in its global network of authorised dealers. Nominees are selected from each business to go head-to-head and complete a series of technical tests, before being whittled down to one winner for each of the categories: Top Technician, Top Service Manager, Top Marketing Executive, Top Sales Executive and Top Aftersales Ambassador.
As part of the awards selection process, Robert Cole completed tests on Ferrari product and brand, and completed a virtual mock sales and personalisation consultation:
“This award means so much to me. In October we welcomed our son into the world, so to be able to tell him as he gets older that the year he was born, his daddy was the best Ferrari salesperson in the world means so much. I’ve always loved the brand I work for and was overjoyed to get a job representing them, so to be on merit the number one in the world at my job has left me rather speechless!”
Chris Mahon was also presented with a number of practical tests, such as identifying the faults within Ferrari models, as well as written exams, to receive the accolade of Top Technician:
“Having chased this accolade for the last few years, to finally win it makes it that much more worthwhile. Even now, it doesn’t feel real. I always said I wanted to win this award just once, but now I’ve achieved it I want to go for another title and hopefully break some records!”
