How to enter and eligibility:
The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom. All entrants to the prize draw must be aged 18 years or over. Entries are made by completing the digital form on MINI UK website, this link will be available at a MINI Retailer whilst attending the Electric Test Drive event between 16/09/2024 and 22/09/2024. The opening date for the prize draw is 08:00 16/09/2024 and the closing date for the prize draw is 23:59 22/09/2024. All entries received after this time on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Employees and agents of BMW Group and its associated companies, their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with this prize draw are excluded from entry. Only one entry per person, per household. In entering this prize draw, you confirm you are eligible to do so. The Promoter may require you to provide evidence of your eligibility. The Promoter will not accept entries that are completed by third parties, are in bulk, illegible, have been reconstructed, forged or are incomplete. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit of intention of the prize draw. Entries cannot be returned.
Prize:
There will be one winner selected who will receive a gift card to the value of £1,000 to be redeemed with Canopy & Stars. The gift card will have an expiry date of 12 months from 20/09/24. The redemption of the voucher and booking of a stay will be subject to Canopy and Stars Booking Terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.canopyandstars.co.uk/terms/booking-terms-and-conditions. Unless stated otherwise in these terms and conditions the prize excludes transfers, excursions, attractions, fuel, gratuities, telephone calls, taxes, further personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered and the prize is not transferable. The winner will be the one entry drawn at random from all properly submitted and eligible entries on or around 30/09/24. The winner will be notified by 30/09/24 and informed about the details of the prize. The prize may be withdrawn from the winner outlined above and a new winner drawn if the prize is not accepted within 5 days (120 hours) of notification. No purchase necessary.
Winner announcement:
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary. The winner's name and county will be available 28 days after 30/09/24 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Partnerships Marketing Team, BMW UK, Summit ONE, Summit Ave, Farnborough GU14 0FB, UK. The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrant's statutory rights are not affected. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in this prize draw. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. †Test drive subject to applicant status and stock availability. Exclusions apply. Applicable to drivers aged 21 to 85 inclusive with a full valid UK or permitted non-UK driving license held for at least 12 months, with no more than 9 penalty points accrued in the last 3 years and no disqualifications in the last 5 years. Proof will be required.
The EU has developed a new test to measure fuel consumption and CO₂ figures called the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Official consumption (combined) for the All-Electric MINI Cooper is between 4.2 − 4.5 mi/kWh. CO2 Emissions: 0 g/km. Official consumption (combined) for the All-Electric MINI Countryman is between 3.4-3.9 miles/kWh . CO2 Emissions: 0 g/km. Values are provided for comparison only, to the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges and do not relate to an individual car or constitute part of the offer. Only compare equivalent electric range figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles, vehicle load (and, for battery electric vehicles, the starting charge of the battery). Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters which may result in a change in fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions. Figures for battery electric vehicles were obtained after the battery had been fully charged. Battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. Figures quoted are subject to change due to ongoing approvals/changes and range figures may include options not available in the UK.
