Checking your Motability allowance eligibility is the first step to accessing the Motability scheme and your new car.
Joining the Motability scheme has no effect on any other allowances you may receive, and those eligible can choose a car from a variety of Stratstone car brands. As a result, Motability cars come in all shapes and sizes and can be hugely beneficial to disabled motorists in various ways.
If you receive mobility allowances from the government, you may be eligible to exchange them for a three-year lease on a new car from Stratstone Motability dealers. With no upper age limit and parents or guardians able to order a car on behalf of their children (aged three and above) the Motability Scheme really is open to almost everybody.
You need to receive one of the following allowances to be eligible to join the Motability Scheme:
Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
As of 8 April 2020, this allowance is £62.50 per week.
Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)

War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
